Established in September 2008 The Ramsbottom Table Tennis Academy coaches juniors from aged 7 years to 16 years and they are encouraging both boys and girls to learn to play the fastest game on earth!
The Academy is run by a group of dedicated volunteers AND QUALIFIED COACHES who have been involved in table tennis at all levels from local league standard through to international competition for a great many years. All coaching is carried out at Castle Leisure Centre in Bury on Friday nights. The coaching sessions are run by MANDY WINSKILL & DAVID ALLEN who are both level 2 UKCC qualified coaches. They are supported by other experienced players and volunteers. The Academy is open on Friday nights and coaching takes place over two sessions starting at 605 p.m. and 705 p.m. respectively. Click on the CONTACT KEITH link for more information.

Through the structure of Ramsbottom Table Tennis Club the Academy juniors will be given the chance to play in the local table tennis leagues. Ramsbottom Table Tennis Club run 10 teams across 3 different leagues and have close to 30 playing members. However in September 2010 the Academy will have two teams in the Bury & District League's division 5.
